Here the disaster scenario unfolds in real-time. Learners are immersed in the emerging events and communicate with the fictional character over the period of disaster recovery.
The aim is for learners to help the character to manage the issues of the case and work alongside stakeholders and colleagues, so as to develop best practice for working with the work challenges, eg disasters. Knowledge is being co-created.
Suitable for student groups undergoing instructor-led, indepth training. Assignments, learning resources and peer to peer comunication through forums, live chat and online conferencing or presentations are included.

Here the case story unfolds along with information provided by the character and other stakeholders. In this sample there is no live communication between participants, or between learners with the fictional character, or with an instructor.
Silver courses can also have students communicate with the character as the scenario unfolds.
The aim is for learners to develop their own case management at each stage of the disaster recovery and to check their knowledge through the learning resources, including multiple stakeholder narratives, and mutliple choice quizzes.
Suitable for an individual learner undertaking self-paced learning without instructor.
All courses participants receive certificates.
