Welcome to World Vision International Scenario Planning

Rather than a simple case study, reality was used to develop a fictional scenario so as to provide an authentic, informal exchange of knowledge and ideas.

The learning outcomes aim to engage strategists and leaders in reflection, discussion and problem solving focusing on strategic directions to create a resilient organisation, one that is able to deal with rapid change and future trends.

The participants adopt the role of a WVI Board member. They meet in a forum providing the opportunity to discuss posted topics and issues as they arise from the unfolding scenario.  Participants also communicate with the Vice President within the scenario, replying to her emails.

Each session, has updates of new video blogs from the main character, Maria. There are also updates on what is happening around the character, from news reports, sponsors, displacement camps, WV branches, and other relevant entities. The Learning Management System delivers these functions automatically.
